{"id":228,"date":"2025-02-24T20:18:24","date_gmt":"2025-02-24T19:18:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/radix-studio.fr\/blog\/?p=228"},"modified":"2025-02-24T20:18:24","modified_gmt":"2025-02-24T19:18:24","slug":"upgrading-a-tc-m6000","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/radix-studio.fr\/blog\/2025\/02\/24\/upgrading-a-tc-m6000\/","title":{"rendered":"Upgrading a TC M6000"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>This is a short article on how to update the Firmware of a M6000 (Mk1) to the latest version.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prerequisite:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>a fully working M6000 Mk1 unit<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>running on a older firmware version (for example \u00ab\u00a0Frame SW Version 4.00\u00a0\u00bb, \u00ab\u00a0DSP SW Version: 4.02\u00a0\u00bb, \u00ab\u00a0Ethernet SW Version: 6.00\u00a0\u00bb)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a floppy disk or an USB stick if you&rsquo;ve upgraded to a GoTek drive<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>You can upgrade to the following versions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Frame SW Version 6.50<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>DSP SW Version: 6.50<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ethernet SW Version: 8.10<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Download the following archive and uncompress it:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-file\"><a id=\"wp-block-file--media-484731c5-bc27-4dd7-aca8-5b58655350de\" href=\"https:\/\/radix-studio.fr\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/reverb-6000-firmware-6_50.zip\">reverb-6000-firmware-6_50<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/radix-studio.fr\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/reverb-6000-firmware-6_50.zip\" class=\"wp-block-file__button wp-element-button\" download aria-describedby=\"wp-block-file--media-484731c5-bc27-4dd7-aca8-5b58655350de\">T\u00e9l\u00e9charger<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Start by updating the Frame and Ethernet firmwares:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Copy the contents of the \u00ab\u00a0Boot\u00a0\u00bb folder to a blank floppy disk (or USB stick)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Turn your M6000 off<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Insert the floppy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Turn the M6000 on<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The floppy disk drive LED will turn on. The M6000 LED will blink from green to orange\/red<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After a few minutes (5-10) it will turn back to green and your M6000 will boot<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Now repeat the process with the \u00ab\u00a0DSP\u00a0\u00bb folder (copy to a blank disk, turn off, turn on, etc.).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is a short article on how to update the Firmware of a M6000 (Mk1) to the latest version.
